a Texas transplant and Mississippi Native. I moved to Texas in 2007 to attend Sam Houston State University and later joined the U.S. Navy as an intelligence specialist.  In 2011 I married my best friend, Dustin, and we later welcomed two rambunctious boys Riddik and Ryker.  After serving 6 years on active duty, my family and I relocated back to the greater Houston area to be close to our family and friends. 

In 2021, shortly after the pandemic, Riddik, 7 years old at the time, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. The diagnosis completely changed our lives.  I left my full-time sales position to focus on Riddik's treatment and to be at his bedside during hospitalizations.  It was these difficulties, the need for a second income, and the need for massive flexibility that pushed me to use my Texas Notary Commission to start a loan signing business.  

Benchmark Signatures isn't just a business.  It's about family; It's about helping other people through some of the happiest (closing on a dream home) and, sometimes, the most difficult times (assisting with a Power of Attorney) of their lives.  My goal as a business owner and mobile notary, is to help make the process of signing convenient and simple.
